Beach Clean-up

COASTAL CLEANUP DAY IS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2021!

Over the last 17 years, Mendocino County has had 5,000 volunteers participate in Coastal Cleanup Days. They have removed almost 60,000 pounds of trash and 9,000 pounds of recyclables!

Please mark September 18 on your calendar and come out and lend a hand to “protect your happy place”. The Noyo Center will work at Navarro Beach, 9A-12P. If you would like to join our group please let us know by sending a message to [email protected].

Visit http://www.mendocinolandtrust.org/…/coastal-cleanup…/ for details about 17 cleanup events happening in honor of Coastal Cleanup Day! If you won’t be in Mendocino County that day please visit coastalcleanupday.org for an interactive map of cleanup events happening all over California!

Join us for our monthly Beach Clean-Up!

Growing out of our very successful Tsunami Debris Survey program, the Noyo Center has initiated a permanent beach clean-up program.  Our beach stewards are making our beaches more pleasant for visitors and safer for coastal marine life.  We host a group walk at 10am every first Saturday of the month at Noyo Harbor Beach “Dog Beach” so newcomers can learn what we do and how to report their findings.

Fill out our volunteer application if you would like to join our team!
