Summer Science Camps

Three fun camps for different ages

1. Mendocino Coast Discovery Camp image

Come discover the wonders of our beautiful coast.  Four fun-filled days and an overnight on the last night will fill our campers with marine adventures galore. From marine mammals, to beach clean ups, to river adventures, to helping with dockside urchin sampling in Noyo harbor, campers will get a truly unique look at the Mendocino coast.

July 16th-20th

  • Five days plus a night under the stars!
    • July 16-18 from 10am to 3pm (bring bag lunch)
    • July 19-20 overnight camping on the Albion River
  • Ages 11-15
  • $250 (Inquire about Scholarships)
  • Limited to 12 campers
  • Drop off will be different each day; schedules will be provided
  • Camp involves a few long walks or hikes

2. Bone Builders Camp

Articulations are our thing!  Come help assemble a harbor seal skeleton for display at the Noyo Center.  Experience some of the 3D technologies we use to support our specimen collection and work hands on with our latest skeleton.

July 23rd-27th

  • Daily from 10am – 3pm (bring bag lunch)
  • Ages 14-22 (or in college)
  • $0-$250, sliding scale
  • Limited to 8 articulators
  • Drop off at 155C Cypress Street in Fort Bragg

3. It’s All Fun and Games Camp

June 25th – 29th

It’s summer and the little ones just want to have fun!  We make learning about marine science fun, with art activities, games, and fun adventures.

  • Daily from 10am – 3pm
  • Ages 6-10
  • $200 (Inquire about Scholarships)
  • Limited to 12 explorers
  • Drop off off will be different each day; schedules will be provided.

  1. Pay your registration fee on our Donate Page, indicating the camp you are interested in. You can also mail your payment (PO Box 1321 Fort Bragg, CA 95437) or drop off at the office (155C Cypress Street, Fort Bragg).   2. Download Waiver Form here, sign and return and upload below or email ([email protected]), mail or drop off at the our office (see above).
  3. Complete the following registration form hit submit button.
