Noyo Center for Marine Science is getting ready to have its 6th annual Marine Science & Art Fair. Featuring amazing projects by school kids from Fort Bragg, Mendocino and Comptche. The theme this year is “Engaging the Public in Marine Science). Marine science exhibits have the ability to offer a deeper understanding of our ocean and be fun at the same time! They can also be important tools in telling stories that inspire appreciation of the ocean, interpret an issue in a meaningful way, or spark excitement about marine life. The Noyo Center has a new downtown Science Center and is exploring ways to engage visitors.

How to Participate:

Open to all students. Please read through the two attached documents for this year’s theme/guidelines + some project ideas. Completed projects can be dropped off to our downtown center on Main street next to Feet First on Thursday February 28th any time between 2-6. MSAF ideas for guidelines    MSAF guidelines 2019#2

All projects will be on display in the downtown center during whale festival weekend, and a few will be selected to be featured for a month.
