WHAT:  Creative Hands-on Make-It Workshop for our 2018 Oceans Float in the 4th of July Parade.  We’ll make creative elements like capes, masks, fish head hats, Bottle Tops, magic wands, or Scaly Vests inspired by the Oceans, and have you ready to Parade as a SuperHero or Ocean-inspired Creature!  We’ll work with plastics, paper, tyvek, fabric, paint, glue guns, sewing, duck tape, snaps and more. We can experiment with face paints or hair styles… Please bring any material you may like to work with… fabric, an old sheet, a cool pair of pants, that old blue shirt, a funny hat or other clothing for an ocean costume.  We’ll have a variety of ways to create that other ocean inspired “you” for the Parade…Then on 4th of July, wear your creativity to Parade with our Oceans Float through the streets of Mendocino!
