It’s been another long year and we know you kids are hungry for more in-person and outdoor fun! Our campers will visit a different location every day and learn about marine science through games, art activities, and coastal adventures, with fun being the goal! Campers will visit local beaches, our Discovery Center and its marine science exhibits, and the Crow’s Nest Interpretive Center with the touch tank aquarium filled with marine life.

Because of its popularity, we are offering 3 sessions of this camp this summer, so sign up today. For kids that wish to attend more than one camp session, please sign up for your first choice and let us know if you want to be waitlisted for another camp(s). We want to provide this fun experience to as many kids as we can!

Each day during this camp we will explore and learn about how to become better stewards to our beautiful Mendocino Coast. Whether hiking from the redwood forest, along the coastal terrace, or in the rare pygmy forest, campers will investigate evidence of this region’s ecological development over millions of years. Campers will get a chance to visit both our Discovery Center Museum and the Crow’s Nest Interpretive Center on the Noyo Headlands Trail. Our schedule shifts slightly on the last two days of this camp as we will be camping overnight at Mendocino Woodlands State Park. The drop off on Thursday, 7/14 is at noon and pick up will be Friday, 7/15 at noon. A full list of what to bring and what is provided for this camp will be sent to all participants with confirmation of your registration.

There are limited scholarships available to families that may need financial assistance to attend the summer camp programs. If you would like more information on scholarships please contact us directly by emailing [email protected].
