Fort Bragg Whale Festival Weekend
Special Marine Mammal Specimen Exhibits

The Discovery Center is always filled with fascinating marine mammal specimens, and during Whale Festival we have a few things on display in addition to our other exhibits, including a beautiful rack of baleen plates from a humpback whale, a blue whale scapula, and a minke whale skeleton.

We also have Larry Foster at the center on Saturday, March 18, signing his book, The Art of Discovering Whales, and on Sunday, our scientists are in the house with the recordings from humpback whales taken just off the Mendocino Coast this fall.
