After School Program
After School:
Discovering the wonders of the ocean
and the Noyo River
The Noyo Center for Marine Science is excited to be working with Kudos 4 Kids, creating an after-school program with the purpose of improving the wellbeing of participants, immersing them in nature, giving them exposure to activities on our coast.
Research supports that exposure to nature has been linked to a host of benefits, including improved attention, lower stress, better mood, and help in achieving academic goals.
This program is a great opportunity for kids to learn about the natural world, connect with the community, make new friends, and have some fun!
