The Francis Vanek Trio joins us on Friday, April 28, with a performance drawing on repertoire from the Great American Songbook aimed at creating harmonic and rhythmic dialogue in a varied program that spans hard-bopping blues, silky bossa novas, ballads, and jazz-funk.
